The name of the wine, BIN 60, originates from the German phrase "Ich bin" (I am) and symbolizes Ivailo’s age in the year the wine was first produced. Santa Sarah’s first notable encounter with the Mavrud variety began with the Private series, crafted using grapes from 40-year-old estate vineyards in Southern Bulgaria. Following the careful selection of cuttings from these vineyards, Santa Sarah established new plantings of this variety on the winery's grounds in 2015. In the Goritsa region, the Santa Sarah team rediscovered the potential and unique style of Mavrud, offering a more playful, lush, and multi-layered interpretation of the variety in the Santa Sarah BIN 60 Mavrud 2022 series.
